I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I wasn't expecting to get a 59 x 30 thought I could go smaller until I sat in it. It's comfortable, has the skid/slide resistant bottom so I don't have to worry about getting in the tub and slipping.
