We haven't laid this new flooring yet, but I am pleased with the color we chose and with the overall look of the planks. I hope they will be easy to lay and was pleased that they are for cement and bathrooms which is where we will be laying them. My reason for only 4 stars is because when I opened the packages I found some of the planks had small chips off of a corner here and there as well as a few had bigger chunks off of the edges. I realize these were shipped and arrived during excessive winter low temps in Iowa and that isn't the seller's fault necessarily. Perhaps packing needs to be done differently in situations like this. FOLLOW UP REVIEW: We now have the flooring laid and it looks fabulous! Our contractor felt that it went together well but he does have experience. Product was as advertised. I would recommend based on appearance and quality feel of the product, i.e. rigid plank, good backing, and surface feel. These reviews helped me and I have a similar complaint within the shipping quality and associated product damage. It seemed to me my planks were damaged in packaging as the boxes themselves were not too bad when they arrived. I’d say 50% (8/16) planks has some kind of damage most of which was damage to the tongues as shown in pictures. Probably two corners were such that I could not use those corners. I chose to install at a diagonal so I had a decent amount of waste or left over so the damage issue didn’t affect me. Do consider this when purchasing. Overall the final product is nice. New floor looks great. Its softer to walk on than our old sheet vinyl. Moderately easy to install. I recommend lots of extra blades for doing cuts and a steady hand. Used a rubber mallet to help snap some of the tiles together which made the center of the room pretty quick work. If I did this again, I would have opened more of the boxes and done some sorting so that I paid more attention to the placement of the lighter and darker tiles. The product itself is great, the boards have a strong connect once snapped together, and the finished product is gorgeous. The issue is that both of my orders arrived damaged. This is probably due to the weight of the item and the fact that I only order one box. If you were to order multiple boxes it may arrive on some sort of pallet that is better protected.. Taylor. So far so good, they appear to be as shown on the site. The boxes, (x3) were not heavy. They appear to be thick. I will have a better feel for them once they are down, and the floors have been installed. My nephew absolutely swears by them and he installs floors.
