Well I am not an expert in setting up tents but it was very difficult for me to set it up, I believe that the instructions are for people who know how to camp. I found it very beautiful and comfortable. You can use it in many ways, just the inflatable mattress, or the whole bed without the tent. I loved. We really enjoyed camping on Lake Roosevelt with this Tent Cot. We could get into bed pretty much like a regular bed. We did not have to crawl around on the ground. We slept comfortably. It would have been nice to have a double opening; one on each side to get in and out. Also, if there were pockets on the inside walls for flashlights and things. First of all, it is quite a big larger than I imagined. Definite a plus. A 6’ person can easily stand inside and sleep. Plenty of room for a camping table and 4 chairs. Room for 4 adults to sleep in. Despite not having instructions, it was easy to figure out to put the long rods thru the silver boarder and smaller rods on the sides. I am a 60 year old 5’1” woman and did it myself. The only thing I need to figure out is how to seal the back completely when not attached to my SUV. Not that big of an issue. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is it really would benefit in having at least 1 screened side to keep a view and keep out bugs when used to sleep in at night for some air circulation. As always repacking a bit more difficult. But that is not related to the product. It would need 2 people to fold correctly but I still got it back in the storage bag that is comes with along with the tent stakes. I look forward to using it soon.. Michelle.
