The design of the shed is what sold us! Upon delivery of the shed, we began losing our excitement. The instruction manual required someone with architectural rendering experience to understand some of the instructions. Not easy for a semi-pro to figure it out. The majority of the wood was not marked, so each piece of wood had to be measured and marked to insure the shed would be square. Some of the 2 x4's had massive curves or were split, so adjustments had to be made to insure solid construction. Wood quality seemed like C grade. This was the greatest investment I have made to date. It was an easy and effortless assembly. My husband and I finished in 4 hours. No fuss. This is a great shed. I put mine on a 2x6 frame with 2x6 16 on center and decked with 54x6 deck boards which made a very strong floor. I put this together by myself in about 14 hours including the floor. There are some steps that are somewhat difficult by your self but take your time and you will figure it out. One of the most difficult parts is installing the wall panels without them falling over, to overcome this I used a 6' step latter and clamp to hold the walls up. One thing I would highly recommend is a can of silicone spray which will make snapping the panels in a breeze. One question I have read in other reviews is will the sky light panels interchange and the answer is yes. Ordering the shed was easy, as always with Wayfair. Shipping the package and getting it on my property was not. It took a month to the day to receive the shed, following at least 6 calls to Wayfair. It went through a 3rd party shipper, so I understand when there’s more parties involved, more can go awry. Once that snafu was ironed out, the delivery guys were great! I was home when they arrived and they put the 800lb package exactly where is asked with a smile on their face. Everything looks intact. Wayfair could iron out the delivery process when using a 3rd party shipper with larger packages. I’ll let you know how the shed looks when I build it next weekend.. Craig.
