The instructions were adequate but not great. My boyfriend is a 30yr+ contractor and it still took the 2 of us 2 days to build it by ourselves. We really could have used more hands. I highly recommend doing what we did and taking the time to sort all of the parts before beginning. Not every part was labeled so this would have made for issues had we not staged everything first. The structure itself is fairly flimsy. The roof vent windows are poorly designed to say the least. So is the door latch. We added quite a bit of extra bracing and tie downs and clear caulked all of the panels which helped considerably. We added slide bolts inside the doors to hold them closed while inside, as well as hook and eye latches to hold the doors open outside and a slide bolt on the door without the latch to keep the doors closed outside. We also bolted our planters to the wood base and greenhouse walls, and built a counter that runs the length of the end and is also bolted to the structure and the base. It is NOW quite sturdy, but if you plan to purchase this keep in mind that it will take a fair amount more time and money to make it a sturdy, wind-proof building.
