So, we love it. Packaged securely, even though the carrier or carriers had managed to dent in a couple of areas of the thick outer cardboard. Assembled this morning for about 2 hours. I gave this TV stand a four star rating because it is not as tall as the ad says. It lacks about seven inches, and I would have preferred it taller. But it is solid wood so therefore a keeper. Solid wood products are hard to come by, so this is perfect. I do love the design, it is modern yet comfortable, very pretty! Assembly took me 1.5 hours solo. Very easy to understand instructions. This is the cheapest looking and feeling piece of furniture I’ve ever bought. In the pictures, it looks like wood slats but it’s just a design printed on particle board. The legs are really cheap plastic that have no guide holes so attaching them was guesswork and, no matter how I put them on, the stand is wobbly because the legs aren’t sturdy enough. When I decided to wall-mount a 55 inch TV, I wanted as clean an installation as possible: no tethered boxes on a table below. That meant attaching a Fire Stick 4K, a Harmony Hub and an old TiVO Mini to the rear of the TV. The TiVO and Fire Stick were easy, but the Harmony Hub is made to sit on a horizontal surface, period. As I envisioned fabricating something out of metal strapping, I spotted the Mount-IT! MI-355 online. Perfect! And it was.
