I love the look of the sliding doors. They don't have a clunky metal frame on other side so there isn't extra to clean or anywhere for dirt to collect. Does it’s job. It’s the only shower door that fit the dimensions of my shower. Wish they offered different finishing colors but the chrome is all they had. May spray paint it at a later date. Absolutely unacceptable quality. The only reason why I didn’t return it’s because i built the bathroom with this item in mind. One side of the frame has to be built after moving tub in place because pump and blower frame sticks out a bit over the tub lips. Tub frame is cheap 1 by 1” tubing held in place with some cheap self tapping screws from hardware store, they didn’t even bother to use one kind of screws. When tested it, the pump switch didn’t work, had to buy another one. Spot welds what can i say, i can do e better job and I am not even a welder. This looks like was made in someone’s garage. Instruction manual looks like someone just typed it in Word and printed it on a home printer. Front cover is supposed to stay in place with 4 magnets, it slides down since magnets aren’t strong enough to keep the cover in place, at least could have used neodymium magnets How can you possibly sell such a product for $2600 and feel proud about your Family Owned Business of 30+ years. First, you can't really beat Wayfair price with free shipping. The packaging was robust enough to prevent damage to this large and heavy item. The nickel finish is a worthwhile upgrade for a contemporary look. I chose the Lake Mist glass (after viewing choices on Sterling website) which offers a compromise between clear glass and 100 frosted. I like the combination of transparency at top with gradual opacity from a pattern of frosted dots that merge lower on the doors . Doors have a CleanCoat surface on the bath side that have kept them pretty spot free, even with my hard water, although I use a squeegee regularly as well. One of the doors did come with a horizontal line mark on the lower frosted surface, which I assume was from the cardboard packaging rubbing against it. Haven't been able to remove but not very noticeable. Installation took a few hours - measured twice then cut conservatively and used metal file to ensure close fit. Look for YouTube videos for tips on drilling into ceramic tile if your tub surround has it - saved me big headache. First, you can't really beat Wayfair price with free shipping. The packaging was robust enough to prevent damage to this large and heavy item. The nickel finish is a worthwhile upgrade for a contemporary look. I chose the Lake Mist glass (after viewing choices on Sterling website) which offers a compromise between clear glass and 100 frosted. I like the combination of transparency at top with gradual opacity from a pattern of frosted dots that merge lower on the doors . Doors have a CleanCoat surface on the bath side that have kept them pretty spot free, even with my hard water, although I use a squeegee regularly as well. One of the doors did come with a horizontal line mark on the lower frosted surface, which I assume was from the cardboard packaging rubbing against it. Haven't been able to remove but not very noticeable. Installation took a few hours - measured twice then cut conservatively and used metal file to ensure close fit. Look for YouTube videos for tips on drilling into ceramic tile if your tub surround has it - saved me big headache. Top height is sufficient for average people (I'm 5'10 and clear top crossbar by inches) but over 6' may have to duck on entering this tub door.. Erik. San Antonio, TX. Thu Apr 03 2014
