[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have both the ring door bell for our front door and now this spotlight cam for our backyard. We love being able to check in when we’re at work or away from home. Our backyard is open and we’ve had problems with people coming into our yard. Thankfully we had a place to put our camera already as our houses previous owner had a different camera up. Instillation and set up was a breeze. We love that is has a light that pops on when it detects motion and that we can talk through it and set off an alarm. It adds a level of safety that we really appreciate. The camera sees a very wide area so our entire yard can be seen (though at night we can’t see the back half since we have an acre, which is fine with us). The quality is okay but do wish is was a little better. Any movement makes the object a bit blurry and sometimes can be hard to tell what it is. Does okay with people.
