Tub was listed on the website as cast iron but actually was acrylic. Talked to customer service representative who was wonderful and immediately said the info was sent by the manufacturer to go on Wayfair website and that Wayfair was unaware that it wasn't cast iron. Had a hard time finding a fan the size I wanted but this was it! I wanted a larger size and most were not long enough for my 36" stove width I wanted a good 4" on each end. It looks great. Bit loud on low speed but think it's bcs it's so long. I don't mind. And it does a fantastic job of sucking up garlic or onion smells! Love the sleek look, baffles easy to remove and wash. We have the privilege of having my brother to be able to tackle our remodeling projects even if it will take time due to him living 6 hours from us. I was surprised when I received a call to verify the measurements and that we'd be able to use it. It was also amazing to talk to someone else who is in Texas as that's where i grew up and my family including my brother lives. The freight company who delivered was amazing. We haven't installed this yet but we did inspect the boxes and everything looks wonderful!! The glass is super thick and has a beautiful frosted look.
