It is thick and although it came folded like an origami it unfolded nicely and has no creases. Looks expensive without breaking the bank! It’s hard to find all that especially online. When I finally pulled the trigger I just hoped it would work and it did. My grandkids love playing and laying in the living room so the trendy super thin washable rugs were out of the question and I like plush. The color works well and has a lot of variations depending on the direction the shag is lying and the way the light hits it. It’s called taupe but, overall it’s creamy/beige/taupe/wheat.
