I purchased the LG LDTS5552S dishwasher and have experienced a persistent chemical odor since the beginning of ownership. The smell is difficult to describe precisely, but it resembles heated rubber, vinyl, petroleum products, or synthetic plastic. The odor becomes stronger as the dishwasher heats up and appears to be emitted from the lower vent area. The problem occurs even during normal operation without using the High Temp or Extra Dry settings. Over the past year I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps, including cleaning the filters repeatedly, running cycles without detergent, using dishwasher cleaning cycles, and removing additional plastic accessories from inside the machine. None of these actions resolved the issue. The dishes themselves do not retain the odor, but the heated air emitted by the dishwasher does. The smell is strong enough to travel beyond the kitchen and can sometimes be noticed on the second floor of the house. After more than a year of trying to live with this issue, I have stopped using the dishwasher altogether and returned to washing dishes by hand because I am not comfortable having my family continuously exposed to the odor. What concerns me most is that this odor appears whenever the appliance is heated, suggesting that materials inside the unit may be releasing volatile compounds into the air. I do not know whether LG has evaluated the long-term impact of breathing these emissions during routine daily use, but I believe this is a legitimate concern that deserves attention. I am disappointed because otherwise the dishwasher performs well. If LG is aware of this issue or has a solution, I would genuinely appreciate a response. We couldn’t be happier with the Café 23.2 cu. ft. Smart Counter-Depth 4-Door French-Door Refrigerator. For a counter-depth model, the capacity is impressively efficient. The layout makes excellent use of space, and despite being 23.2 cu. ft., it easily holds everything we need without feeling cramped. The four-door configuration is a standout. The middle drawer is extremely versatile and quickly became one of our most-used features, perfect for drinks, snacks, or frequently accessed items. Both the refrigerator and freezer sections are well organized and easy to navigate. The dual-dispense AutoFill water pitcher is another highlight. Having filtered water ready to grab from the fridge is incredibly convenient, and the auto-fill feature works reliably. The dispenser is fast and easy to use while maintaining a clean, integrated look. Being ENERGY STAR certified gives us confidence in its efficiency, and it runs quietly while maintaining consistent temperatures. The smart features are well executed too. I orderd my dryer from the LG web site. I was anxious because I wasnt sure how smooth it would go. As it turned out- evrything went well, even when I needed to change the delivery and installation date. Also, I researched and learned that I got a better price ordering directly from LG. I had a complicated install with it being a stacked unit and installed in a smaller, yet adaquate laundry closet. The installers were excellent and gained my full confidence. 28 Inch Gas Front Load Dryer with 7.4 cu. ft. Capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer does an amazing job and there are soooo many options to ensure your clothes get the right drying temp, etc. that they need. Connected to wi-fi - just haven't used that yet. Two small issues - (1) our lint sensor is crazy sensitive. Just had the ducts cleaned yet it constantly gives us a warning that our ducts are almost blocked. (2) the vent in the back started rusting within 3 months!!! Dryer vents can rust but not usually this fast. Trying to stay on top of that but it's a bit of a bummer for such an expensive item. They should fix this!. Acm71. NC. Tue Dec 10 2024
