Our 6 ft. Horizontal Slat Fence Kit provides strength and durability by using powder-coated galvanized steel. The 6 ft. Slat Fence Kit is designed for installing hardwood or synthetic wood slats. The kits are predrilled and ready to be installed onto the OUTDECO post. (posts sold separately) Purchase the number of posts required for your project, the lumber of your preference, and the number of Slat Fence kits. Each 6 ft. kit attaches one section between two posts. The kit rails are adjustable when installed to accommodate 5/8 in., 3/4 in., and 1 in. thickness of lumber. Consult a lumber expert for the best lumber and treatments. The kit also provides 24 - 1/2 in. spacers to allow for consistent spacing between 6-in. horizontal slats. If more spacing is desired the slat spacers will conveniently stack within the slat track. Additional spacers are available separately for more customized results. I purchased these to create a piece of wall art and I AM SO BRILLIANT! Lightweight and easy to work with and seems it could be cut down if needed easily with a jig saw. I’m thinking I may put some stained glass film behind it to make it look like a stained glass window. Very nice. Easy to use. I ordered the tan. I think it is more of a taupe color. Has a little gray tone to it. Very sticky!!
