We have this as our prep sink in our island and we e mounted it with the skinny side out as the apron. It is perfect. I LOVE this sink. It's beautifully crafted, the water runs toward the drain, and it includes a very nice sink grid (sink grids can get very pricey and if they are not included, it's hard to find one that fits perfectly that doesn't cost a small fortune). I have an InSinkerator, so did not need the included drain cover and basket - but they look MUCH better than the InSinkerator drain ;). Note, the sink is very heavy. Beautiful bright white granite sink. Just installed in my wet bar. Do check measurements as this is a larger than normal sink for a wet bar space… its depth doesn’t leave a lot of room for a counter mounted faucet. It comes with a drain assembly which is a price perk. however, the drain is slightly more yellow in tone and I noticed that other reviewers mention that it discolors with use.
