This is natural stone, which upon reading the sticky label attached to the base, I discovered has no coating and needs special care for cleaning and is, apparently, easily stained. Label had one sentence about recommended to clean with either ammonia and water or mineral spirits (which I would pass on since it will stink up my house for eternity). I used a damp soft cloth. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
