I did not purchase this to use as a desk. I needed a corner vanity and did not want to spend a lot of money. This was perfect for the budget and worked out great! The directions were very straightforward and easy to follow with the exception of the final step of placing the top shelving to the bottom base. The two sections in the corner as I show in the picture want to separate. This requires two people. I assembled this by myself and it took several hours. It is a great piece of furniture for a gaming desk or to use as a vanity. The light strip is a straight continuous wire and does not have an L shape to allow for the corner and sticks out. I was so impressed with how carefully this was packaged. The instruction sheet was impressive too, written instructions and color pictures. Sometimes I needed both and other times it was pretty obvious what went where. It was relatively easy to assemble and took about 25 minutes alone. The chair is so comfortable, a nice wide seat, high back and the lumber rest is nice. The material is soft and should be easy to keep clean. There are some scratches on the seat, may be made from glue or the manufacturing machine I havent been able to remove them as of yet but its ok. I love the recline on this gamer chair. I feel like I can sit in it for hours. The footrest will come in handy when I am playing on a big screen and pull the chair away from my desk and PC. Love, love, love the color highlights. This is a great chair! It was easy to put together and came with very large and clear instructions. The chair is covered in a microfiber fabric and is very comfortable. The lumbar pillow is a great addition and adds some back support for long hours of studying or playing video games. Unfortunately the headrest hits my son in a weird spot because he is so tall.
