The screen does the job it was ordered for - hide the trashcan. Would certainly work for blocking a street view for an air conditioner. I ordered the white vinyl since it would be easier to hose off any mud splatter that the natural wood. Easy to put together, took only 20 minutes. When the box arrived we weren't sure about assembly since every slat is a separate piece - see pictures. A rubber mallet was used to get the stakes into the ground. Once in it is very secure.. Simply a great portable AC unit. The unit comes ready to go straight out of the box. Setup, components and instructions are all there and easy to manage. The unit is on caster wheels and is easy to move around, however it requires more effort to move on carpeted areas. One note to keep in mind is that the condensation water drain valve is on the back and low to the ground, which requires one to swing the unit around and place a shadow pan to collect the water. Product was as advertised. I would recommend based on appearance and quality feel of the product, i.e. rigid plank, good backing, and surface feel. These reviews helped me and I have a similar complaint within the shipping quality and associated product damage. It seemed to me my planks were damaged in packaging as the boxes themselves were not too bad when they arrived. I’d say 50% (8/16) planks has some kind of damage most of which was damage to the tongues as shown in pictures. Probably two corners were such that I could not use those corners. I chose to install at a diagonal so I had a decent amount of waste or left over so the damage issue didn’t affect me. Do consider this when purchasing. Overall the final product is nice.
