I should probably ask my contractor to review this product, since I didn't have to install it myself. All I can say is that it looks great and opens and closes smoothly. If you're not experiencing this with yours, then maybe it was the installer's fault.
One drawback is that it's not very tall. At 5'7", I can step into my shower without ducking. My sons (5'10") would have to duck, as does my 6'2" boyfriend. But maybe that's standard now? Whatever.
