The recessed gas plug is a convenient outlet for natural gas or propane that can be hooked up directly to your house or RV gas system. This outlet is designed to be recessed into the wall with a fire-rated abs rough-in box, covered with a brushed finished stainless steel door that protrudes no more than 1/2" out from the finished surface. The gas plug (TM) door can be closed while the appliance remains hooked up. This is a nice compact dehumidifier. It's sturdy and heavy but doesn't take up too much space. The wheels and handle are great for mobility. One of the best things about it is how quiet it is in operation. For a commercial dehumidifier, the sound is very low.
