I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. This has been mostly a set-it-and-forget-it appliance for us, but it's nice that we have access via the app if needed. Because I enjoy being lazy. Highly recommend.. Lia V.. Wed May 13 2026

The collection bucket can hold up to 8.5 pints and a bucket full indicator and auto shutoff will be your queue that it needs to be emptied. Convenience features like auto defrost, auto restart and a 24-hour on/off timer make this unit simple to operate.
