Ummm… I like them. But let me say when researching and reading about the wall decor not one place anywhere at any time, say anything about wall studs! To be honest, I didn’t give it any thought, until I actually ran into one, which was the very first hole I drilled into my wall (not keen about the idea of drilling holes into my wall.) The second issue I had, was when drilling the second hole, I hung the hook with the sphere on it, and the entire thing fell. Luckily, I was close enough to catch it without it breaking. After spending $600+ on wall decor the last thing you want to happen is it hit the floor and break. So after that incident, I saw that maybe I should reinforce the hooks. I used clear Gorilla Glue to do this. Lastly, when hanging the smaller sphere the weight of the sphere pulled the nail down, so again this could have been a disaster. Make sure to hammer the nail at a good steep angle. Also, it may be a smart idea to have spackle and touch up paint on hand for this little project. I hope this review helps. I’ve included pictures.. The packaging was great. However, the items had many scratches and chippings. The wood or the engineered wood is pretty cheap and I wish they had used better material. Looks exactly as it does online.. can’t wait to put up on my wall!! Update Finally installed the panels. They are super cute but definitely had to make a few adjustments. Had to cut a few of the panels because they were too big. Additionally, all the panels would not perfectly align therefore I had to use caulking to help close the gaps. I used white caulk because the panels can not be painted. When pasting the panels to the wall I used gorilla construction adhesive and it worked great! These are nice panels I am using them for cupboards will post pics when my project is complete. The surface that a few were complaining about wasnt at all an issue for me since I am painting them and coating them after with clear so it all looks smooth and like a cabinet door would. We love it! We spent 30 mins sorting each box in to 9 piles. then it took us about 10 hours to complete the wall (the longest was the first 3 or 4 rows as we cut around the vent and socket but then it was easy. You do have to swap out pieces and try a few to get the best fit each time. My husband and i are novice at doing this and so long as you take your time, you can do it. The instructions were good....mark out your stud lines first and also use a nail gun. We didn't paint the wall behind black, but each time we put a piece of wood up we looked to see if we needed to do any paintning behind the joins or holes and then just dabbed the wall in those areas - however we did miss a few joins that we didn't see until we shone the light directly on it as we finished off as it was getting dark. When you buy a few boxes you should spend 30 mins sorting the wood near to your project in to 9 piles. The wood comes in 3 widths and 3 lengths eg we called them wide, medium and narrow. Each width also comes in 3 lengths, small, medium and long (hence 9 piles) so that as you are building as you go you can reach for a wide long piece and they are all together so you can try a few.
