The fixture itself is really beautiful. It completely changed our family room and provided some much needed light. However, the bulbs that come with it are small G4 bulbs and they are quite yellow. The manual says the color temperature is 3000K but I think it's more in the range of 2700k. So if you don't mind a golden hue, then you'll enjoy this fixture. I would change the bulbs out if I could but they are very hard to find and quite expensive (it would cost over $600 to change them out). This chandelier is gorgeous! I have had previous chandeliers for thousands and this rivals it. Very well made. We had 4 crystals broken out of all of them upon opening. I ordered this fixture a couple of years ago. We have been rebuilding after a lighting fire and it’s taken this long to get it installed and we are still not finished with finish work inside. Once the electrical is complete and we pass inspection I will be able to see this fixture on. I am in LOVE with this chandelier. I was looking for something that had the elegance and sparkle of a traditional crystal chandelier with a more modern style, and this fixture far exceeded anything I'd hoped for. Considering my budget was quite meager, I postponed my excitement until it was assembled and installed. The frame took about 20 minutes to assemble, and the crystals were pre-strung and took another 20 minutes or so. Trimming the wiring and hooking it up took another 15-20 minutes, so the whole job was completed in about an hour. Now that it's up and hanging over my guest bed, I smile every time I walk into the room. Absolutely gorgeous. A+, would recommend over and over.
