I have heard so many people talk about their Air Fryers that I had to have one: I ordered this because I have a small kitchen and there are only two of us in the household. Much of this unit is plastic, but it seems strong and well-made, and the aqua is beautiful. The first thing that I cooked was chicken: 4 drumsticks to be exact, which fit nicely. I rinsed and patted them dry, and then I hit them with a tiny bit of olive oil spray and seasoning: Twenty-five minutes on 400 and they were very good: Different than traditional fried chicken, but easy clean-up and a whole lot less calories and fat. There was a little bit of a funny smell the first time I used it, but I was expecting this and it went away quickly: I washed the basket and rack before use with warm soapy water before use and I wiped the rest of it down with a damp cloth and I think that's why the smell faded so fast..
