This fan was super easy to install, really moves the ait and is whisper quiet! I love the customization of the fan speed, light brightness/tone and timing available through the app, but the actual physical controller that came with the fan is junk. This fan is very sleek and will go well with just about any decor. I like the fact that it has non integrated dimmable light bulbs which are included! Smart features are clever and work well with the recommended apps. The remote is convenient, not very well made and other than smart devices, it is the only way to control the functions on the fan out of the box which is why I gave it 4 stars. This could be a techies dream but someone else’s nightmare! This fan DOES NOT work with 3rd party ceiling fan wall controls such as Lutron! There is a wall control switch by Hunter that is said to be compatible but requires batteries and paring with the built in transmitter in the smart fan and it retails for about 60. My husband connected it to a single wall switch that is all or nothing( fan and light on with settings previously set on remote) so I can at least turn on the light when I enter the dark room. We use the app and remote to control the functions. If you just want a nice looking fan that doesn’t require a techie to set up this is not the fan for you but if you are into smart features and are a techie, you’ll love it!. Dionne.
