I purchased the Ocean Wave color for the renovations done to my inground swimming pool several weeks ago. I work with dichroic glass in art projects and was surprised to see this glass listed at such a low price. I placed my order for 166 sq. ft, optimistic but worried that the quality would not be good enough to use it. What I received was absolutely beautiful. While not as thick as many mosaic tiles on web backing, this glass was perfect for the pool. As you walk around the pool the varied surfaces of the tiles catch the light and results in a beautiful glimmering effect that everyone comments on. (Attached is a photo that shows the varied surfaces of the individual tiles and another taken early in the repair project, showing the wonderful visual effect when the installed tile is viewed at different angles.) The packaging was superior, with great care taken to make sure that there was absolutely no breakage. Of the 5,976 two-by-two-inch square tiles that arrived, every single one was perfect. Please note that natural stone does vary in pattern and color, so each piece will be unique, which is part of what makes natural stone such a beautiful and interesting material.
