These pans are glorious. I've been wanting All Clad for a long time and was happy to finally get these. We just bought a nice Cuisinart stainless steel set but really needed a good nonstick pan for certain things. These conduct heat very well and are great quality. Great looking pan set I ordered two different sets one in mat and one in shiny out side metal. I find using a generous amount of oil in the pans helps since the insides have ridges easy clean up after the pans cool off and soak in water for a tiny bit wipes right out. I got this in the 1.5 qt. size and you can see what a standard 15.5 oz can of food looks like in there for scale. I've had this 3 years now and can say Tramontina's tri-ply is really good quality. I'm not sure why they don't seem to get as much attention as brands like Calphalon, but they should. I also have a Tramontina 8" tri-ply skillet and it performs really well, too. Nice pan at a nice price. As some of the reviews have pointed out, the pan discolors on the inside with use. Washing doesn't remove the discoloration, but presumably a cleanser might. Tramontina recommends Barkeeper's Friend but I haven't tried it. Regardless, it's just cosmetic. The pan has a nice handle, is oven safe, and is induction range compatible. Loveeeee this set! They are beautiful! If you have trouble with it “losing” its shine (inside) or tarnished its not (look at my photos). You have to treat this set like you treat a cast iron skillet “season” the pans after use. After a good hand wash dry the pans with a soft cloth, then dab a few drops olive oil (or oil if your choice) wipe the inside of each pan (you are coating the oil in the pan) and wah lah they are perfect again! This is a fantastic grilling pan. It works on any type of cook top, gas, electric even induction. I have a gas cook top, I think it will be perfect. The pan is very light and stainless steel quality is excellent. However, I wish it was a little bit larger. Once I grill in it, I'll take a picture and add it w/my review. OK I used it and made lamb chops. It worked out perfect, didn't stick at all and cleans very easily but do not try to put water in it or clean until the pan is cooled off.
