Decent bed. Feels sturdy enough I was able to put it together alone, but it took about 8 hours going at a slow pace with lots of breaks. Get a kneepad if you have one. Be sure to look at both sides of each piece immediately after you attach to make sure you have the right orientation. I found a backwards one twice and it was a considerable setback. The directions could be confusing at times, generally just sitting and staring at the parts for a bit or looking ahead to next few steps would made it clear. I'm giving it a 4 star review be use a received 3 unlabeled parts, luckily I could narrow them down. And because the pull out shelfs cannot be wheeled out , at least if you have carpet, and are a very tight fit. Photo attached shows why. The bottom of the shelf sides touches the ground and makes the wheels pointless. I will likely use them in the closet instead. The storage drawers are a little awkward to use. I struggle get the hook lined up and set in the slot to close them. Do not recommend if you have a bad back or mobility issues. The light is great if you like a bit of a night light.. M. Madison, WI. Great quality and very sturdy bed! We have an 11.5-inch mattress, and the lift-up mechanism works really well. It is smooth and surprisingly easy to lift, even with the mattress on it. The headboard feels solid and well made. I especially love the white oak color—it looks beautiful and matches our tongue-and-groove wood ceiling perfectly. My 19-year-old son assembled the entire bed by himself. He said the assembly wasn’t particularly easy, but he was able to complete it without any help. We purchased another bed from Wayfair around the same time, and the difference in quality is significant. This bed is definitely much better quality and feels like it will last. Very happy with our purchase!. Rebecca. CA. Sun Sep 06 2026
