The thread size is 28/400 and fits many standard soap pumps. The thread diameter is approx 1-1/16 inches. You can check if your threads match by using a standard soda bottle cap. I've purchased two of the soap containers to keep our showers less cluttered and for the economy of purchasing bulk products. These are plastic products, made to look like metal but appear well made. It is extremely easy to install. One is installed on tiles, the other on a fiberglass shower. I did have one observation that is rather critical. If you fill all three containers to the top, the weight may loosen the contact. They never actually fell off the wall but I took them down and applied additional adhesive to secure them. This soap dispenser is cute but pretty cheap quality. I put pink soap in it and the bluish color from the plastic has come off into my soap, turning it blue.. When I wiped the soap buildup off of the pump cap, it discolored it, probably because the pump isnt real metal. Its functional but probably wouldnt recommend if youre looking for good quality..
