I’m very impressed with how this turned out. It was a lot of pieces to put together but looks great in the end. I got the blue color and love how it looks. The color changing options on the fireplace are fun to play around with. I’m a little disappointed in the heat feature. Thought it would heat up my living room better than it does. I also read some complaints about a smell. I do notice a slight smell to it but I think it’s just because it is new. It’s also very mild and doesn’t bother me at all. We purchased this in Dune Distressed for our fireplace makeover. We tore out our formal molding and tile and did an all stone fireplace. It shipped very quickly and we really like it. I agree with other reviews that the distressing is a bit too "perfectly placed" but once it's up you don't really notice. It has a bit of a grayish undertone but is mostly light-med brown. You can see more of the gray in person than you can in pics. You can choose to use one, two or all three pieces which is really nice. (Don't punch out the holes unless you're sure you want to use all of the pieces!) It was easy to hang. It's hollowed out so it's also light weight. (That also enabled us to put an outlet in the top.)
