First issue: One box does not cover 54 sq. feet. It is more along the lines of 15 sq. feet. It is close to five dollars a square foot at 15 square feet instead of a little over a dollar for 54 square feet. Second issue: Flooring is shipped in original packing which does protect it from damage from shipping. Only two of my planks were not chipped or cracked. I Just installed this floor so I can’t speak to the durability of it just yet. I have a very active Schnauzer and 9 year and it’s been great and super easy to maintain. Installation was a breeze (a local contractor installed it) and ordering from wayfair was amazing (ordered 800sq feet). We did three rooms on the main level. The first picture is with natural light for reference. Planks are a good width with decent thickness.
