I’m do agree with others that the crackling sound is not realistic so we don’t turn it on. I really like this electric heater. I prefer to use a small unit like this instead of turning on the main house heat. The imitation logs and flame look really nice. The heat comes from the bottom and is blown by a small fan. I’m giving it 4 stars because the digital display on the remote doesn’t work.
