I ordered the 23 x 23 x 8 in black. It’s very soft and fluffy and doesn’t seem to shed. The sides are not as tall and firm as other donut beds so you don’t really get that “wall” effect. You can fluff them up a bit by kneading the outside a little, but with use they flatten back down to just a slightly elevated, wide lip. My dog is happy with it though, she will swap back and forth between her taller/firmer donut bed and this.
