They are beautiful, bright white background. The pattern doesn’t quite line up but I think it adds to the more whimsical pattern. We used them in the kitchen for a backsplash and on the floor in the powder room. Originally the contractor grouted them white and I didn’t like that look, I like the grayish grout better. This tile is gorgeous! It is a matte finish which I prefer better to the shiny. Very easy to walk on and you don’t slip if it’s wet. When you measure, make sure you order extra boxes. The measurements aren’t exactly what it says. A little smaller and you waste a lot making cuts.
