The rug came perfectly wrapped and within 2 days of ordering. The colors are muted and beautiful. Main color is a slate gray with undertones of gold, gray & charcoal. The wool is soft but not plush. Beautiful velvety soft olive green wool rug. At first when I unfurled it (and it is heavy) the surface of the rug appeared to have a slight sheen to it, like velour, that changed when walking on it from lighter olive to darker. But as it has been walked on, it has settled down and now I love it. I put a rug pad under and it feels luxurious. The weave has little ridges running horizontally, like corduroy.
