This was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to a tall cat tree (without carpet covering) to have access to a 7ft catwalk above the window blinds. I searched a very long time. Considered the very expensive modern cat trees before I found this tree. I'm so happy I kept searching. For me this was the perfect combination, great price and good looking. The base is wide and sturdy so the structure will not fall over. You can customize the tree by staining or painting to your color choice. Note the two highest levels (upper platform and top condo) tends to shake when the cats jump on it, especially when they push off it to get to the adjacent cat walk. The instructions do recommend placing this in a corner or by a wall to help with the shaking. Unfortunately for us, we placed it in a corner with large windows instead of walls. Not a problem though, I will stabilize the top condo to the wall using shelf brackets and that should do it.
