I was on the brink of returning because I filled the tank with water, added the oils and such, and pluggd everything up but there was no mist! I was so sad but I remember seeing someone’s comment about leaving the diffuser on for 24 hours and I came home after the night shift and BEHOLD! I have mist. Hope this helped someone.. Anonymous. I struggle with dry sinuses during the winter months due to a hot air furnace. It causes my sinuses to become irritated and swell up causing painful headaches. I’ve been using this humidifier at night next to my bed and noticed a drastic improvement in my breathing the first use. Since the humidifier is rectangular in shape, it fits nicely on an end table or nightstand. It’s super easy to use; just fill the container with water (I use filtered with a bacteriostat solution) and then set the dial to your preferred amount of mist. You’re able to turn where the mist comes out so you can have it pointing toward you if you like. If you don’t like the sound of machines operating, you won’t have any issues with this one because it’s extremely quiet. I also like the size of the opening to where you add the water because it’s big enough to fit most hands in so it can be thoroughly cleaned. This humidifier comfortably covers a large room, but you’ll most likely need to buy more if you have more rooms that need added moisture.
