Very happy with this ceiling medallion. The light fixture I had originally ordered for the room felt too small and this gave it the dimension in the room that was missing. Pretty simple to install. We just used small finishing nails to secure it as flat as we could to the ceiling. Then caulked around the edge. We did not end up painting it because our ceiling was already white.. Nicole. Material is a lot thinner than it appears in the photo. Measurements provided are at the widest points, which I assumed, however, the material itself is extremely thin and I'm not sure about longevity. The cost to return is over half the cost of the item so it's not worth sending back. With it being on the ceiling it should be okay for awhile. Perfect size and style medallion I was looking for. It’s made a pvc so I needed to give it a light sand in a few places at the edges and spray painted it 2-3 times before I hung it. It compliments the light perfectly. I would definitely recommend this brand of ceiling medallion, just be sure you order the right sized center hole as that can complicate install.. lisa.
