5 stars for the bed. 1 star for Wayfair. This is a solid, well built piece of furniture and beautifully constructed. I ordered the side tables as well, which were missing some bolts but customer service at the manufacturer and they are on their way. Now to Wayfair .... Each piece is hand constructed and, according to my phone call to the manufacturer, takes 10-12 weeks to build. Wayfair has this piece as shipping within 3-4 weeks. It actually took 14 weeks to receive. Wayfair also offered white glove service, which was important since it is solid wood and quite heavy. We needed it on the 3rd floor of our townhome. Well ... delivery day FINALLY came and the delivery guys would only take it to the front door because of Covid. That's baloney as proper precautions can be used, and we surely had movers who were masked up, careful and moving things into our home. So we had to hire movers again ($200 minimum) to move these heavy pieces, then we put it together ourselves, which isn't hard if you're handy. Wayfair gave me a $48 credit, which was not satisfying since we have hectic lives. Lovely bed, but don’t make the mistake that I did by inadvertently failing to order the headboard. You will NEVER be able to get it afterward, and Wayfair will put you through an exasperating run-around while they fail to come through. Also, this took so long to arrive that my original credit card expired. Wayfair never bothered to contact me about this, and I ended up in trouble with a collection agency.
