This set arrived in several boxes and was a little daunting once we broke into them. It took about 5 hrs to assemble them all. The parts fit well together. Some of the screws are tedious due to their location, but luckily they are all pretty similar in build. Once you build one, it's basically rinse and repeat. So happy with this purchase! This 12 piece set came boxed like it was the crown jewels. Despite an unhappy husband who had to cut up all the cardboard, no damaged pieces arrived thanks to the packaging. It was not difficult to put together, although with 12 pieces, it is time consuming. The cushions are great, very thick, look well made. A little firm, but not uncomfortable. We used sealant on the wood as a precaution, and used spray fabric guard on the cushions.
