1010!!!! So far I am in LOVE with this bed and am HIGHLY IMPRESSED. To start, I recently helped a friend put together another bed from Wayfair (gray and tufted). This bed was the same size and double the price as the Audrey and the quality difference was insane. The Audrey bed came packaged very professionally and organized. All of the upholstered pieces came wrapped in protective cloths that I was able to leave on or use to protect each piece as I was building the bed. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The boltsscrews came very organized and they include extra of all the bolts and bed slat connectors. The wood used for the bed slats felt like much higher quality than my friend’s bed as well. Overall, putting it together was simple but did take a few hours. I recommended having a friend help and having access to a second Allen wrench to speed things along. Next, I am impressed with the height of this bed. Many platform beds are quite low, and this one sits pretty high. Combined with our 13in” mattress the bed is a great height. If you want your feet to touch the ground when sitting on the edge of the mattress, it would be too tall with a 13 in mattress (I’m 5’6”). The velvet headboard is gorgeous and luxurious. All of the nail heads are shiny and in tact. I would say that this bed may be less sturdy than others, but if you tighten the bolts and leave it on a carpet, you should be fine. In the end, I am extremely impressed with this bed and I really hope it continues to hold up over time. If you are teetering between choices, this one is an excellent pick!!!. Lindsey.
