I really like the look from afar however, the panels were not 6ft by 8, they were short 5-6 in. on the length and were cut to 5’11 in height which totally screwed up our layout. Now we have to order another roll to make up the shortage which btw are now unavailable! Each panel had poles that were not wired through and were extremely crooked.. Angela. Great product but be sure you want this size in bamboo thickness. This 3/4” D is much smaller and more see through then the 1”D thick. It's definitely more see-through than I would've liked, but it does the job in terms of giving you a decent amount of privacy. The quality is okay, not great...some of the reeds are broken on some ends, and some of the dark parts make it look like the wood is rotting. Lastly, for stability, you do need something to tie it to; for both apartments, ours has been against concrete slabs, so we end up leaving it at an angle and then putting something heavy against the base on both ends to keep it up. For context, the first three pictures are from the initial apartment I used it at right after we bought it; the last picture is after nearly 1.5 years and a move to a new apartment. I did extensive research on this brand of bamboo fencing and did not find any worries. I bought three boxes of the mahogany stained version. They were stunning. I kept the boxes in my living room until my contractor could install them outside. Meanwhile, I could hear very loud snaps and cracks emanating from the boxes. When I opened them, I saw that all of the bamboo was badly split and cracked. I don't think they will last very long, because they are still splitting and cracking. The loud snaps and pops never stop. The bamboo is on a fast and furious self-destruction mission. It is probable that this is a function of my living in a very dry climate. I am SO excited to have purchased this willow fencing. I am not going to use it outdoors, though it is definitely durable enough to do so. Instead, I am using this fencing to redecorate my bathroom. (I bought bamboo fencing to use for privacy on one side of my (dream at this point) hot tub. The deck needs to come first But, back to the bathroom. I wish I could send pictures of the finished project, but this will have to be done in the future, AFTER the danger of COVID-19 has passed. The fencing, though, comes in an 8’ long box in which it is packaged very well, even having a handy carry handle on the side of the packaging. It is much more manageable to move around once it is out of the box, though I know I will need help to install it. Did you know that Liquid Nails makes a clear product? The willow will go on the wall with a full mirror above the marble on my tub (I’ll have to cut a foot off). The other willow will go on the short wall as you enter the bathroom.; I am not sure if I will cut it shorter or not yet. My wonderful handyman understands why we prefer he not come around while this risk still exists So I will attach photos of where the willow fencing will go. These are completed as advertised. Mostly solid bamboo poles. Some had slight tapers to them, but that works fine for my purpose. I have 4 stars because the bamboo came dirty, nearly muddy. I had to wipe them down and get them cleaned up. If they were shipped clean I would have given 5 stars.
