Easy to assemble. It came with lots of chipped parts. The wood where the section crosses in the middle was not measured correctly and was too short. Customer service offered a credit + discount code so we kept the door and were able to smooth the rough edges and fill the gaps then stained it. The door itself is sturdy and well made. Very nice sturdy door. My door opening is 28 inches so I ordered 30X84. Should have gone with the next width up. Still looks awesome though. Fairly easy to install but a little time consuming.
