I was incentivized for this review, but trust that if I didn’t like these, I would say so. These are really nice. They came packaged very nicely, no scratches to the pieces as is so often the case when ordering items like this. The gold tone is nice, not too brassy and it matches the other gold tone items in my bathroom nicely. I think this set was a really good price (even at full price), buying these pieces separately at a big box store would cost twice as much. I’m doing a small bathroom model now, and used three of the pieces, I will use the other three pieces in another bathroom. These were easy to install. I just placed the item where I wanted it and traced around the circular portions where the mounting brackets are, and then too the mounting brackets out and centered them within the circle and marked the holes. I then pre-drilled the holes and installed quality dry wall anchors (I was unable to put these into studs). Quality drywall anchors are a must, don’t buy the cheapest ones because they eventually will come out of the wall. Once installed these are nice and sturdy. The little machine screw that holds the rack onto the mounting stud keeps it securely in place and there is absolutely no wobble. The item was well packaged in a plain cardboard box. The foam packaging protected the items carefully. The hardware seems to be well-built and of good quality. I’ve never installed anything like this and it took me maybe two hours with a good amount of breaks in between. I chose this fixture set to match the black matte sink faucet that I previously ordered and it goes perfectly with it. The package comes with five pieces in total, I used four in my master bathroom and one in the second bathroom. Aesthetic: 5/5, quality: 4/5 This hardware set came quickly and was packaged just okay (things had fallen out and were everywhere in the box, delivered by FedEx). The matte black looks extremely polished and nice and I’m happy with how they look. Some of the hardware on the back of the pieces where you install it to the wall had fallen out and we’re everywhere so I already had to put those back in/ together, but it was easy enough as soon as I found all the little pieces. The extra hardware for wall installation came in little baggies luckily. The items are lighter than expected, I thought they’d feel a little heavier/ more durable for the price point of this set. I do like that it comes with everything you’d need for all the little stuff in your bathroom. Note that the 2 small hooks are only installed by an adhesive sticker on the back, as pictured. They do show this in the post but I didn’t realize it at the time and over looked that. I thought they would be for towel hooks but I think towels might be a little too heavy for them. This set enhanced my bathroom and gave it a more cohesive look the only problem we had was a set of mounting screws and the anchor was missing. My husband had to stop and go purchase the missing screws, and anchor, which made it more difficult than necessary. You will need a tape measure , drill, hammer,and a level . We have installed larger items than this which was less complicated, over all I like the set it makes my bathroom look more stylish . I am definitely getting this set again for my 2nd bath . The price is reasonable considering the high price of everything these days , it’s a good buy for the money , If you don’t have a handy man hire a professional your walls will remain intact.. irma.
