I purchased this mattress to replace a older memory foam that did not have the gel memory foam. It was 2:00 pm when it was delivered. I unpacked this mattress and put it on my bed. I know you are suppose to wait 24-48 hours for it to expand and decompress. The first night it felt very soft and I thought oh no. The next night it had firmed up and was absolutely perfect. I slept all night and didn't wake up hot or sweaty. The third night it was more comfortable than I could have ever imagined. Do yourself a favor and purchase this mattress. I got the 14" because I have a lot of deep pocket sheet sets. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend to family and friends. Thank you Comforpedic Loft!. Richard. Really, really firm, getting used to the coils after restless sleeping on a memory foam mattress. Mattress arrived packaged well in plastic and cardboard. So far, so great! The smell is not overt nor unbearable, and I am told that the mattress immediately inflated to its size. The first night it was okay for comfort, and excellent with cooling(I sleep hot normally) and the second night was perfect comfort. It is mediumfirm and normally I prefer firm but as this is my first memory foam, its perfect for me. I woke up refreshed and not in pain. I have severe back issues, surgery on Left L45S1 laminectomy when I was 29. Its a very nice looking mattress, as well. I was concerned about no longer having a pillowtop mattress, but I can say that I do not miss it. I will update in 98 days if I still love it or if I exchanged it, which is a wonderful Wayfair feature to have when you buy a mattress from them. This is what tipped me in their favor. Mattress came quickly and I was very happy with that. Still very happy with the mattress, and it has been 2 years. I got an adjustable base a year ago and it works good with that. I tried this bed before purchasing it off Wayfair, so I already knew I like it. It’s super comfortable and was delivered in great shape. It sits super high up but I prefer that. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is literally the most comfortable mattress that I've slept on in my 39 years Prior to receiving my Beautyrest Black Hybrid mattress, I was actually sleeping in my recliner due to pain from my RA. My old mattress was good it just wasn't what my body needed. I would wake up with pain everywhere and overall not rested. I did some research and found this mattress. It seemed, to have met all that I was looking for in a mattress. I was super excited to get it and finally sleep in a bed again. I could tell after the first night that i had made the right decision. It felt a little too firm for my taste with initial testing but it actually conforms to your body shape. It has the right amount of firmness and softness rolled into one. Remember, those old commercials where the lady would jump on the bed and the wine glass didn't move? This is THAT mattress. I wake up to use the restroom or to get a drink and my husband doesn’t move. Same here, I don't know when he's up as I'm not disturbed by him moving. The cooling technology works great, as we're both hot sleepers and have seriously slept so comfortably since we've had our Beautyrest. We have ours on an adjustable frame and it fits and works perfectly. The thickness is perfect. Beautyrest really outdid themselves with the Black Hybrid. Love this mattress! After searching for months, and testing some out, we decided on this Beautyrest Silver. The thing to understand is that the same mattress will be named differently on different sites, so you have to know what the inner layers look like to compare. Wayfair carries this "Level 2" Beautyrest which has an extra layer of lumbar support. Notice the little bumpy layer about 7 layers down. It also comes in different firmness levels. I like a softer pillow top with support and this mattress delivers. Delivery was professional and prompt with notifications at every level. Another good reason to shop Wayfair!. Elizabeth.
