Amazingly quiet motor, all metal build, and the remote lights up (but only the LCD part - the buttons themselves are difficult to read in low light) and has worked flawlessly. Doesn't creak at all. It's a hair smaller than the queen mattress so that it the whole mechanism can fit inside any bed frame that has removable inner boxspring support rails. It's got a great supportive surface for a memory foam mattress. The metal legs have three sections that can allow you to adjust the height. My pics show it with a 14" mattress purchased from here as well, and with I adjusted the height so that the top of the 14" thick mattress was either 25" or 28" tall, with the bottom clearance beneath the bed either 7.5" or 10" (which is pretty high and allows my robot vacuum to get beneath it, something it can't do under my other beds). Knowing this now, I'd have bought a 12" thick mattress so that the bed is 23" tall since many nightstands are that height. I'd recommend another set of hands to carry it in and assemble it. Instructions are straightforward. It arrived with a slight gouge in the top surface due to a gash in the box, but is hidden by the mattress. The box it arrived in was heavy and unwieldy for the shippers, so i believe that it should be split into two boxes since the bed, in the box, already is in two equal size pieces that you bolt together for assembly.). The leather is okay not the greatest quality it was better in the lower priced smart bed with the Italian leather. The major issue with this bed is the recliner which is the main feature, it doesn’t attach to the bed so it’s just sitting there, if you recline it gets really weak as the structure is not strong enough to support a recliner. It wobbles side to side even if empty, if you’re reclined in it and lean too much to one side the entire thing will fall over. Sitting straight is a little more sturdy. The massage feature is just a vibration with different patterns not a true massager. The Bluetooth speaker speaks in Chinese and no directions come with the bed. It has a clock that’s stuck in military time. Heater and fan built in is a nice touch but points away from the bed. Finally the head and foot of the mattress portion is not supported properly as in the cheaper version so it sinks. You will need to purchase some additional support to make it work. For the price it’s a no but I will probably just keep it as I’ve waited months for it and sold the Habinara bed that was better made but had a useless chaise. The adjustable bed frame is great. Exactly what we wanted. The medium mattresses that came with it are too firm. My wife has some medical issues and cannot sleep on a firm mattress. I will order one from someone else. When so spoke to customer service about it, they took care of it. A new plush mattress is ordered and on its way to our home. Wayfair values their customers.
