After the assembly, the height of the headboard is 72 inches as indicated, however, the length of the bed was 3 inches shorter and the width of the bed was 4 inches shorter than the dimension that is mentioned in the product specification for king size bed.. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. Great bed for the $. Using it in our spare room. I didnt give it 5 stars because the footboard does not have the same fabric covering it with it being left open and black.
