The best toilet seat I ever bought! I know it sounds stupid but I was skeptical about purchasing a plastic seat. I was afraid it would be flimsy and maybe feel funny but the color was perfect so I took a chance….and so glad I did! Aside from it being sturdy and the slow close working great, it’s so easy to clean and the color is baked right through. You don’t have to worry about cleaners removing the color as they do on a wood seat. I’ve had this for several months and it’s just like brand new! I’d recommend to anyone as there’s no down side!. Came within a couple of days of ordering. I was able to put it on by myself within 15 minutes. I also decided to get a bisque color instead of the white it looks really good. I personally don’t care for the white toilet but I’m not about to go out and replace it. The only thing I’m going to add is remember there are two different shaped toilet seats elongated and round. First time I ordered a toilet seat I didn’t realize I thought they were all around. I like this much better than the plastic seats. Extremely happy with the purchase. marcia. I had a solid wood Bemis toilet seat that I loved but the white paint was chipping on the edge. I wanted something that didn’t need touch up paint but still had the slow close feature so I went with the plastic Bemis version. I got brown to match the wood trim in the bathroom and the base of the sink cabinet. So while the toilet itself is white, this actually looks really good.
