I purchased two of these as end tables for my couch and am extremely happy with the purchase. This is a high quality table with a beautiful oil rubbed bronze finish for the base and a thick 1.5 inch travertine stone slab with a honed finish (not highly polished) and the sides of the stone are a natural rough cut. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and has a modern look. Since natural stone is porous, I am going to treat the travertine with a sealer (511 Impregnator Sealer from Miracle) to prevent stains from potential spills. . Irene.
