My husband and I have been living in our apartment for almost 4 and a half years and we have had two dogs with these 4 years. Our complex has never cleaned our carpets (every 6 months they get cleaned). We rented the rug doctor and it didn't do what I thought and it was bulky and only went one time. I have been seeing good and bad reviews about this, but I chose to invest in our health. We have dust in the carpets from shoes and every daily activities. When my husband put it together and saw the rows he was impressed already. It didn't take him long he followed the directions. Some people's reviews I have read proves they didn't follow directions, follow it! This is expensive and worth it do it correctly. You will have to refill the tanks quite a bit depending on the size of the room but it's worth it. Let the pictures speak for itself. More updated pics soon. I would highly recommend! Splurge and get it!! A must have if you have pets!! We have 3 dogs and they make our carpets awful and embarrassing! We rented a different brand from a box store before Christmas and this machine did better than that one. Now my husband did the cleaning with it and said the fill tanks are removable and easier to fill than the commercial rented one. He said you have to go slow with it, but the suction works great. It got up quite a few pet stains. It is more narrow than the rental was so he was able to get it in tighter spaces. It wasn't as heavy as the rental, but not like a vacuum cleaner either. He compared it to the old school metal vacuums. I didn't think to get a before and after pic, but will try to the next time. Great vacuum for a low price ! I was hesitant in purchasing this vacuum but I’m so glad that I did . For a pet owner this could not be more convenient!
