Purchased two of these to serve as mudroom storage after custom built in and Lowe's standard cabinet options came in at 3k to 4k. We selected these over others based on the solid wood construction. I would say it is worth the additional cost, as the stain finish and veneer are convinving, not great but better than the laminate picture of wood many other options use. Soft close doors are a nice touch. We put cushions on the drawers to soften their close. It is sturdy and the tolerances were spot on, amazing feet in my opinion. Assembly of the first one took 4 hours, the scone one took 3. The trick to the doors is too slide the hinge out as far as permitted before staring door hanging, and use two people. arrived in 3 days. 2 boxes. I would agree to assemble in room where it is going to go. Directions were not hard hard to follow. I was surprised due to the size. It is time consuming due to the size. The doors went better than expected. They did need adjusted at the end. I was just very surprised how everything lined up as I started to assemble. I did 2 of these. I do recommend. The doors do take 2 people as directions say. The first one took me about 5 hours as I went slow to make sure. 2nd one I did in 3 1/2 hours. So not hard but time consuming and looks great when done. This is a beautiful cabinet when put together. I purchased it to add storage space to my crafting area by increasing my storage space, while keeping things tucked away. Assembly was a bit of a challenge, because the directions were pictures only and there were a couple of times when the holes were not pre-drilled. There are times during the installation that you will be happy to have two people working on this in order to maneuver it around. The directions say that you need a screw driver, but trust me when I tell you to not even consider attempting to assemble this without an electric screw driver and drill. If I didn't have an electric screwdriver, this would have taken me three days to assemble and I would have ended up with a serious case of carpal tunnel syndrome. One important note to make is to make sure that you look at step 6 before completing step 5. Step 5 tells you to nail all the back panels in; however, step 6 shows that you need to leave a gap between two of those panels in order to slide a strip of wood in-between two of the panels. Because step 6 in on another sheet of paper, if you didn't look ahead you would miss the step, like we did. It looks fine, but you can see a small gap between the panels where we didn't leave enough space to slide the wood strip between which might really bother some people. The other thing that wasn't clear was the wheel tracks on the drawers. The pictures indicate the track runs the full depth of the drawer; however, it only covers a little over 2/3 of the drawer depth. Install the wheel tracks to towards the back of the drawer to ensure they can close fully (this is one of those points that holes were not pre-drilled, so we didn't have any indication as to where the tracks were supposed to be). We found that all the doors and drawers matched up properly and needed little adjustment. Overall, I am very satisfied with this cabinet and highly recommend it. . Virginia. Ok so the shipping is fast. But I feel like the quality isn’t there for the price. I bought 2 of these and they had broken pieces on both and one of the drawers won’t go in because there is a piece of the roller broken off so the drawer won’t go inside like it should. When we put the doors on as you can see there is a crack in the doors. Too be honest I could have gone to Roses and gotten these for $149 the only difference I see between the 2 is the color and the height. Not sure if this is against the web page but I also showed you the 1 from Roses and I should have gone back for there wardrobes. Wayfair $359.99 and Roses $149 you do the math. This thing looks great put together. However, it’s an absolute nightmare to put it together. Follow Step 1 (which should be like 8 steps) very carefully. Pay close attention to what connectors go where and how many. EXCEPT - I recommend not putting the hinges on the armoire. Connect them to the door hinges. When you line up the door with the inside of the armoire, you’ll see the holes to connect the hinge. This is 100x easier than trying to put the hinges together when the door and the inside hinges aren’t lining up and you’re debating on just throwing the whole thing away. The boards for the drawers were so warped I spent several hours attempting to put them together and then decided to soak them in water overnight and weigh them down to flatten them. The damp boards were easy to work with and slid into the slots much easier. If you read my tips prior to assembling, I think you’ll give 5 stars. It is a really beautiful piece.. Michelle. Using as a tv armoire in our bedroom. It fits a 32 tv perfectly. My husband drilled a hole in the backboard to run our tv wires thorugh. The backerboard is two thin sheets of plywood, with a wood strip that connects them in the middle. Much better than some of the cheaper styles that have a cardboard backing. This is very sturdy. I did not have to adjust the drawers, they fit flush and straight right away. I did have to adjust one of the doors to make those lay even, but very easy to do. Drawers are nice and large and deep. Fit a lot of stuff. Shipped in two boxes and LOTS of pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to put together by myself. Would likely have been faster with two, but is doable by yourself. Looks very high end. I did change out the drawer and door pulls just to jazz it up and make it my own. Tip for putting the doors on yourself Put the handle on first. Then line the door up with the hinges and close the door. Put a screw in each of the hings, then open the cabinet to finish the rest.
