For our big kitchen remodel, we installed two Blanco Silgranite sinks - and matching drains/basket - all ordered from Wayfair. I love the sinks and the strainers match nicely. Unfortunately, the bolt on the drain/basket broke (6 months after installation) for some reason, and with it the entire drain/basket popped off yesterday! Thankfully minimal water leaked. I knew it was past the point that Wayfair would do anything, so I called Blanco and they are expediting a replacement drain, since they don't sell individual parts. This is made in China, all plastic except the part that broke, which is a metal bolt. Bravo to Blanco for replacing and expediting (I have a dinner party this weekend). But I would love to know why the bolt broke -- I don't use this sink (my prep sink) nearly as much as the other one (the wash sink). Hopefully the plumber will have an answer.
